The four award winning MY Magazines that cover areas in south Birmingham and Solihull have taken a giant leap forward in their design and branding.
There is now more local content than ever before with regular guest writers from within the community and the championing of local poets, artists and photographers. There is more reader engagement with competitions and prize draws. Since their launch in 2006 the magazines have supported hundreds of local charities and community organisations.
A major reader survey was launched in the Late Spring 2019 edition to gain further reader feedback to fuel even more improvements in the months to come.
The most significant change is the name of the magazines themselves. Until now they have been known as My Moseley & Kings Heath, My Harborne & Edgbaston, My Solihull Central and My Knowle & Dorridge.
To bring them together under one banner for a more consistent and streamlined identity they are now all called MY Magazine with the local area highlighted below. This enables the publishers Swan Publishing to create a seamless online identity for the group of magazines, reaching out to the online readership in a more consistent manner.
The MY Magazine has a vital mission with the communities it serves.
