About Moseley

MoseleyMoseley has an attractive village centre around 2 miles from the city centre. It is characterised by large Victorian villas and semi detached homes as well as Arts and Crafts houses and 1930s semi detached houses. The area is a popular cosmopolitan residential location and leisure destination, with a number of bars and restaurants. There are also a variety of boutiques and other independent retailers. Moseley covers two conservation areas; Moseley Village and St Agnes and these two areas include many larger residential properties. There are a number of excellent primary schools and several open spaces within Moseley including Cannon Hill Park, the private Moseley Park, Swanshurst Park and Moseley Bog & Joys Wood.  Within Cannon Hill Park is mac (Midlands Art Centre). Other places of interest include Moseley Golf Course, the gardens of Highbury Hall and Sarehole Mill.

About Kings Heath

MMKH_V2Kings Heath is around 3 miles south of the city centre, with the ‘village’ spread out from the A435 which connects the city centre with the motorway. Kings Heath has a vibrant village centre with a wide variety of restaurants and cafes, independent boutiques and a number of high street stores. Kings Heath streets are characterised by a large number of Victorian terraced houses as well as some detached Edwardian villas and many 1930s semi detached houses. There are a number of excellent primary and secondary schools and plenty of green space making it one of Birmingham’s most desired places to live. The green space in Kings Heath includes Billeley Common, Kings Heath Park (in which is located the Edwardian Tearooms and Horticultural College) and Highbury Park.
